EASYMOTION Switchable film

These days, special glass constructions and structures are playing an important role in the building industry. Building design tends to require innovative materials to meet the architecture evolution and the designers' inspiration. MACtac Europe offers a high quality switchable film for the glass industry.

EASYMOTION Switchable consists of a thick polyester film containing an LCD layer trapped between two conductive layers and has been developed and designed to manufacture switchable laminated glass.

When an electrical field is spread into the lcd layer, through conductive bus bars placed on the edges of the panel, the film instantly turns from opaque to clear and comes instantly back to opaque state when the power is turned OFF. Mactac proposes the film in roll format or in cut-to-size format, equipped or not with bus bars.  
EASYMOTION Switchable features very good performances in terms of switchability response time and haze.
In its opaque state, EASYMOTION Switchable can be used  as a rear projection screen allowing for high image resolution with a 180°viewing angle, on both sides of the window. Stunning effect !
