Brake pads are steel backing plates with friction material bound to the surface that faces the disk brake rotor.
MACtac's dry film nitrilephenolic tapes provide permanent adhesion to a variety of wet-laid fibers (paper), carbon and other friction materials utilized in automotive OEM, heavy equipment, lawn and garden, and industrial applications. The IF4020 consists of a dry thermosetting adhesive and a 100 gr - 85µm paper liner, and are available as 25µm (IF4020A) and 75µm (IF4023A) tapes.
